Employment incentive for the recruitment of professional training contract ends on May 1st, 2024
As announced by the Ministry of Employment, the decree of April 27th, 2024 has been published. It abolishes the exceptional employment incentive of €6,000 paid to employers taking on young people under the age of 30 on professional training contract.
This incentive will therefore no longer be paid for contracts signed from May 1st, 2024.
Contracts in progress on that date will continue to benefit from the payment until they expire.
As a reminder, the last renewal had initially extended the benefit of this mechanism for professional training contract, and apprenticeship contracts concluded until December 31st, 2024. From May 1st only apprenticeship contracts will continue to be eligible.
