Patrice Boivin

Patrice co-leads BDO’s Software & Services department alongside Hervé Viallat.

With 38 years of experience in business creation and management, he has held all key positions within an organization.

As a seasoned technical sales professional and executive, he is responsible for pre-sales activities, identifying client needs and supporting them in the technical validation of their projects.

Patrice manages the pre-sales commercial team, which includes five team members.

Professional Experience

After studying computer science and management, Patrice co-founded a company with his brother in 1986.

Since then, he has built a unique professional background. He holds certifications from Microsoft, Sage, and Pennylane, ensuring the quality of the solutions offered.

Patrice maintains long-standing relationships with clients, going beyond the traditional client-supplier dynamic to build genuine human connections.

 

Passionate about sport

A passionate athlete, Patrice trained to become a mental coach for high-level athletes.

He played second-division tennis for over 30 years.

In 2016, he took up running and, after two years of training, began participating in increasingly impressive events. His endurance résumé includes the Diagonale des Fous, the Échappée Belle, and the Ironman Barcelona. He also plans to take part in the Marathon des Sables.

Patrice enjoys having fun and finding joy in both his professional and personal life—because for him, pleasure is essential.
